Full course description
This workshop led by Susan Atkins and Deborah Loewenberg Ball will enable teacher educators who are methods course instructors to develop approaches to using simulations, including rehearsals, run-throughs, simulated interactions with students and family members, and practice with students' artifacts, in courses and workshops that are offered online. High-leverage practices in specific content areas, intertwined with specific approaches to disrupting inequity will be in focus and can be shaped by the expressed preferences and priorities of the participants. Participants will have opportunities to practice setting up and facilitating simulations, as well as to watch and analyze others' examples.
