Full course description
Join Susan Atkins for this workshop that will enable teachers to consider the work of supporting English learners to share their thinking and participate in discussions in the elementary classroom. Using the laboratory class as a common “text” where possible, we will use workshop time to review intentional moves and supports for English language development and accessibility to content and texts across multiple proficiency levels. Specific attention will be made to differentiation strategies and frontloading instruction.
